The Chairmen of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) i.e. Anupam Shrivastava has told that the Department of Telecommunications has accepted their proposal to launched the 4G services in India. The BSNL i.e. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has submitted the detailed project in 2017 to acquire the spectrum worth about Rs 13,885 crore and sought Rs 6,652 crore.

The Department of Telecommunications is planning to roll out the 4G services on the 2100 Mhz band in all 21 licensed service areas but in Rajasthan, it has airwaves in the 800 MHz range.
